SEND Groups

Hope Project
An 8 week parent advocacy project. Share your child’s unique needs with other parents, and (if you wish) create a booklet telling your child’s story. Please check with reception for upcoming dates.

Let's Play Together
Let’s Play Together offers well resourced play opportunities for children, their carers and their siblings. Led by members of our SEND team, this group gives families the chance to share their experiences, and learn from one another. Staff can also offer guidance on accessing other agencies or services.

Parents of Children with Additional Needs

A group for parents and carers of children with additional needs and special rights to meet together in a friendly and informal environment. An opportunity to share experiences, celebrations and difficulties, and to find out about the local and national services available to your family.

Premature Babies Group

A clean, safe environment for premature babies from birth to crawling. This group offers families the chance to form social networks outside of the, often complex, medical world. Alongside conversation and a cuppa, we are able to offer the use of our Snoezelen (sensory light room), baby massage and a neonatal health visitor. Staff are also happy to visit families while in SCBU or meet with parents prior to attending the group.

For current days and times, please check our Groupwork Timetable.

The Pen Green Centre for Children and their Families offers outstanding integrated early years services and education for the families of Corby.
