A drop-in support group in for breastfeeding mums. Get help and advice from the group leader, health practitioners and other mums in a relaxed, informal environment. Toddlers and dads very welcome.
A support group designed for women who have experienced emotional/sexual trauma in childhood. We provide a safe environment with supportive and well qualified group leaders for you to explore these issues. This is a closed, confidential group.
Confident Parents, Confident Children
A course for parents to explore what it is like to be a parent. Come along and share tips, celebrate joyous moments, and help each other to work through challenges. Please enquire at reception for upcoming dates.
Following the 12 week programme developed by Women’s Aid this is a support group for women who are in, or have left, abusive relationships. An opportunity for participants to consider what's important for them in their relationships with others. This is a closed, confidential group.
An opportunity to learn new crafts or share your own skills. Staff are on hand with ideas and materials.
Getting Ahead of Postnatal Depression (GAP)
A group for new mothers who are experiencing postnatal depression. This is a closed, confidential group led by highly qualified staff who can offer you advice and guidance.
A group for women at any stage of pregnancy. This is an opportunity to share experiences of being pregnant, to get support with difficulties and challenges, to plan for the birth they want or to share the first few months of their relationship with their new baby.
Offers women the chance to relax and talk about issues and concerns that are affecting their lives in a safe and supportive environment. Staff support participants to explore their feelings around the challenges and pressures of daily life when caring for children under 5 years.
Parents of Children with Additional Needs
A group for parents and carers of children with additional needs and special rights to meet together in a friendly and informal environment. An opportunity to share experiences, celebrations and difficulties, and to find out about the local and national services available to your family.
